By using Alimne (the "Service"), operated by souc ai, you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

Alimne converts uploaded slides, documents, pasted text and YouTube videos into study guides, summaries, flashcards and quizzes using AI. Output is generated automatically and may contain inaccuracies — always verify important information against the source material.

2. Free to use & fair use

• Alimne is free. No paid plan, subscription or credit card is required to use the Service.
• Free account: Your first 3 study guides need no account; after that, a free account is required to make more. Creating an account is free, and the Service stays free once you have one. The sample lecture, and opening, downloading or restoring study guides you have already made, never need an account. The number of study guides that need no account may change.
• Creating an account: accounts are created with Google ("Continue with Google"). Inside an in-app browser (a page opened inside another app), where Google does not allow its sign-in, you can open Alimne in your browser, or create the account with an email address and a password. Our Privacy Policy says what an account keeps.
• Fair use: to keep the Service available to everyone and to control costs, we apply daily limits on how many study guides an account can generate, as well as limits per network and an overall daily capacity. These limits may change at any time, and at busy times you may be asked to wait in a queue or to try again later. We do not promise unlimited use.
• Existing subscribers: if you subscribed to a paid plan before Alimne became free, you can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from within the app. Cancelling stops future charges and access continues until the end of the period already paid. Payments for those subscriptions are processed by Stripe; charges already made are non-refundable except where required by law.

3. Acceptable use

• Only upload content you have the right to use.
• Do not use the Service for unlawful purposes or to process content that infringes others' rights.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service.
• Do not try to get around the usage limits or the account requirement (for example with automated tools, or by resetting or rotating devices or networks).

4. Your content

You retain all rights to the content you submit. As described in our Privacy Policy, your content is processed in memory only and deleted within 15 minutes. You are responsible for keeping your own copies.

5. Disclaimers & liability

The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, souc ai is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, or for reliance on AI-generated output. Third-party services (Stripe, Google, YouTube, etc.) are governed by their own terms.

6. Changes & governing law

We may update these terms; continued use means acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates (Dubai). Contact: sales@souc.ai.
